I would just like to thank all persons once again for all there effort in the making of the pine baron rides.
I am novice rider with a lot of luck. I just started riding motor cycles in 2006. MY first motor bike is a klr 650, I chose this bike for two reasons; I cannot afford any thing else at this time and it is not over powered.
I had a lot of fun riding the first PB300, and PB500. I will ride all other Pb events hopefully.
Looking back on those three days I really got a good laugh at my self, I mean I felt, and acted like a teenager those three days, it really was a lot of fun. Hell … even when I broke down out at the Delaware, just had no fear that the day was going to be all right.
My engine had some broken pieces in it at the start of day two but I waited too long for this event so I gambled and rode the next two days anyway. I help a couple of riders; one rider needed a wrench and the other needed a repair to his chain. I had absolutely no experience with motorbike chains a week before this day .I volunteered to help this person. With three hands two pliers and a screwdriver, we got his “o-ring” chain back together. That made me feel good, and im glad I had to put a new chain on my bike the week before or I would not have been able to help.
I road day two and three by my self. There is a measure of excitement missing when riding alone. I find myself second-guessing that water hole…..will I be stuck? Yada yada yada…
This gps stuff is cool .Oh yea I found some trails that were over grown, I wonder if that was intention on Jack Splash’s part or just coincidence. I am sure others would not have wanted to be with me at that time, I just have to find the end of that trail.
Terry from Pennsylvania is cool for wrighting about the event. I am happy to hear he is ok.
Well when is the next Pb 300 April? Or did that morph into the 500?
